With WSL2 support being pushed to most Windows versions now, it would be useful to be able to spin up and spin down WSL distros (similar to the Hyper-V Module), as well as run an interactive shell within those environments (similar to the cmd terminal or Powershell terminal)

yes. this would be great. perhaps a way to distribute standard wsl images.

Also. some way to run update tasks, monitor packages, vulnerability scans etc
