Apply multiple policies
So you can have a multiple policies applied to a system.
E.g. I want to have a Standard user policy & Developer policy.
say
Standard policy installs and keeps Chrome up to date
Developer Policy installs VSCode
I apply both to a system that way you can build up packs of policies rather than having to bespoke every one

Jeffrey ParkerI really like this idea, or some type of inheritance like global/group/system where policies applied to each level have install and update overrides update and ignore, and uninstall overrides everything, or something along those lines. It would definitely save me a lot of work.

Johnny JOhh this is required functionality to have multiple policies overlapping. Seem we need to rethinkg the usage of pulseway here.

MarkAlternatively we could probably achieve enough functionality if you could expand the Global rules function to include Scopes / groups, I appreciate this is slightly contrary to the term "global rules" but it may be easier to deliver the function.

NickPolicy inheritance or multiple policies is highly desirable. An inheritance/merge system for policies (rather than override), or ability to specify multiple policies (with processing order) at various levels including the Organisation/Site/Group/Device (or instead of Device, allow a Group within a Group) so multiple policies can be used in order to merge to a resultant enforced policy.

Sam HThis - or allow Tags to have policies assigned, for example; an "Allow Remote without Approval" tag.

Craig HI'm so accustomed to dealing with Windows Active Directory OU structures and Group Policy Objects to push out computer & user policies... and these have been around for so long... so I was admittedly hoping that the Pulsway policy scheme would have stood on the shoulders of giants rather than reinventing the wheel for their policy implementation. Regardless... In addition to what's already been suggested above, I would love to add an extension to the request... please add the ability to 1) see a resulting set of the combined policies, and 2) some way to audit/log what policies have been in effect over a period of time (however long the audit log is set for retention of such data).

Also, I really wish that the Pulseway policy engine worked like GPOs in that you pick and choose individual settings as you need them rather than a large block of settings that you have to grab regardless of just needing only one of the bundled settings. It's presently a very clunky implementation IMHO. -

MichaelFor a tool that aims to be able to manage entire multi-client and multi-site fleets, this functionality seems obvious.
Each customer or site may have these specifics, but have overarching base policies. At the moment it is an ordeal to see each customer/site policy go back to change or add a parameter...
