End user notifications - Backup

Send notifications as a popup to the end-users computer if the backups are unhealthy, instead of the IT users sending emails/reminders every time the backup becomes unhealthy. That is a lot of responsibility on the IT dept keeping up with failed backups when end-users should be prompted and be responsible for it. We have a lot of laptop users working from home. They sometimes close the lid or turn off their laptops and it freaks out the backup for a couple of days. Maybe a pop-up with a custom message so that the IT dept can enter recommendations for getting healthy backups.
