Ability to add and remove tags via API

Currently the only way to add and remove tags programmatically is via workflows. This is extremely limiting. It would be great if we could add and remove tags on a system via the API. For instance, this would allow us to change a tag on a system inside a script (via API call) instead of having to trigger something via the script that creates a notification to make a workflow execute. It would eliminate a lot of extra work and points of failure.

This would be an excellent addition. Tagging is tedious and error-ridden. Tagging via script (local tags) would be fantastic.
